7 Things You Might Not Know About Me

Happy New Year! It’s weird because 2020 felt like the longest and shortest year all at the same time. If you follow me on Instagram then you saw that I was showered and in my pj’s by 8 pm. We brought in the New Year drinking sparkling grape juice and hanging out on FaceTime with friends.

I figured a good way to start off 2021 was just a post with random things you might not know about me. Like a quick ‘get to know’ me post.

  1. My nickname is B which is from the last part of my name. My entire family (aunts, uncles, parents, siblings) have called me that my entire life and close friends do, too. I’m not sure the last time my Dad even used my real name 🤔
  2. I am the youngest of 4 siblings, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. We have always been close and love to hang out.
  3. Okay…I’ve never met anyone else who agrees with this next one…I don’t like apples. I try them randomly to see if somehow I like them but I don’t. The only time you will see me with anything apple is if it’s covered in caramel, chocolate, and nuts.
  4. I loveeeee watching junk tv, as most people call it. “Love Island” is one of my favorite shows, but only the UK version, not the US one. I think it’s hilarious and I binged all of the seasons on Hulu so fast.
  5. Ice cream is my love language. If I had to pick my favorite ice cream besides a chocolate shake, it would be Bear Claw or Mint Chocolate Chip.
  6. Some things that make me laugh (besides Boston) would be when other people are laughing, awkward situations when you shouldn’t be laughing (oops), my friends when everyone gets going making fun of each other. And recently, playing pranks on Anthony has had me in tears from laughing. I wish I would’ve recorded some that I have done to him but I made him smash an egg and it splattered everywhere (obviously) and then I did a joke where I ended up spitting water in his face at the end hahaha. Next time, I’ll try to record one 😉
  7. I am Latina! First generation American. My mother was born in El Salvador and immigrated with her family here when she was young. She is fluent in Spanish and I used to know a lot more when I was younger but I stopped using it as much so now I’m trying to get back to it so I can continue to teach Boston.

That’s all for now but I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit more about me! If you want to know anything else, leave a comment here or send me a message on social media!
