5 Hair Products That I’m Loving

Hi! This week, I’ve been trying to get back into a routine like I had mentioned in one of my previous blog posts. So I meal prepped, ordered groceries, and cut up any fruits for the week so they were easy access as snacks. It felt good to be prepared for the week because normally we’re scrambling to figure out what’s for dinner and blah blah blah. But anyway, we have some exciting things coming up as a family and it feels nice to have something to look forward to, ya know?

In the last few months, I’ve been trying (and loving) some different products for my hair and I want to share them with you. So here’s a quick rundown of 5 products

  1. Brigeo Farewell Frizz – I don’t use heat on my hair very often but I needed something for the days when I do and this cream has worked wonderfully! It doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy from product which is important because if I am heat styling my hair then I am usually adding more product later after styling.
  2. Aquis Hair Turban – I stopped using a regular towel to dry my hair yearsss ago because they are just too rough on it. So I’ve been using just a cotton t-shirt until now. I love this hair turban! It has a button and loop so it stays on while I’m applying my skincare and it has really helped with drying time and FRIZZ.
  3. Ouai Leave In Conditioner – This was recommended to me by a friend and first off…the smell of this is amazing! I have thick hair and I only use a few sprays on the mid to ends of my hair after a shower and it keeps my hair hydrated and shiny while also helping with tangles while combing thru.
  4. Brigeo Strengthening Treatment Hair Oil – A little goes a long way but I LOVE this hair oil. I use it mainly when I am going to air-dry and then style my hair and it helps with frizz and my very in-need-of-a-trim ends. Personally, I don’t use this and the leave-in conditioner on the same day because that would cause my hair to become oily too quickly.
  5. Slip Silk Pillowcase – Saving the best for last. You’re going to see the price and think, no way, NOT for a pillowcase but hear me out! This pillowcase is really worth it. My hair (and skin) are far more hydrated when I wake up than with my old pillowcase and I’m able to prolong re-styling it. I haven’t been using it long enough to notice this yet but sleeping on silk is said to help with wrinkles because you don’t get the same sleep creases you do vs. when you sleep on a cotton pillowcase. It’s for more than just your hair, it helps your skin too and it is worth it.

If you have any questions about any of these products, leave a comment below! Hope you’re having a good weekend 🙂
