Sephora Springs Savings Event

Hi! The Springs Savings Event at Sephora starts tomorrow, 4/1 for Rouge members and there are some products that I’ve been using that I wanted to share in case you’re looking to try something new. There are also some things that I’ve been eyeing for a while that are going to be very tempting since this is the only time EVERYTHING is on sale until they run another sale in the Fall so I’ll share a couple of my wish list items, as well.

First off, I have to start with my new favorite product. It’s one of those products that gets you excited to do your makeup. It is the Makeup Forever HD Undetectable Longwear Foundation! I’ve been using it since it came out in February & it hasn’t done me dirty at all between staying on all day, beautiful medium to full coverage (buildable), and the finish isn’t matte but also isn’t shiny on my oily skin. I am OBSESSED. If you’re looking for a new foundation, definitely check it out.

Next up is the Refy Brow Sculpt Gel. I use this on light makeup days when I want my brows to stay but don’t want to spend the time. It is white when you put it on but dries clear and I love that it has a double-ended brush applicator to help shape them how you would like. I will say it dries pretty quickly so I usually work on one brow at a time. (If I’m taking my time with my makeup look then I use my tried and true, Brow Freeze by Anastasia Beverly Hills. It has amazing hold and it’s super easy to use).

Lashes…I am constantly trying different mascaras. I go from really liking one to hating it to liking it. But the Hourglass Instant Extensions Mascara is one that hasn’t let me down yet. It lengthens and separates and doesn’t flake off. One thing I will say, I sometimes curl my lashes after they dry for a more curled, open-eyed look and this is not the mascara to do that with. It ends up looking very clumpy near the base and I lose the fan look that I’m looking for. So fair warning, curl your lashes before only with this mascara.

Lastly is the most neutral, beautiful eyeshadow palette. I’m sure I’ve talked about it before because I’ve been using it for a whiiiiile and I still find myself grabbing it before anything else. It’s the Master Mattes by Makeup by Mario Eyeshadow Palette. It’s an easy palette if you’re new or afraid of eye shadow and it’s also a beautiful transition palette for those fancier, spicy looks.

I was a little wordy on this so far so I’m going to wrap the things I’ve tried and loved here but I’ll share more on my Instagram these next few days.

But I’ll quick show you a short list of things that I want. Some things are a little pricey which is why I’d probably only buy them right now instead of paying full price.

  • Patrick Ta Lip Crayon in shade “Oh She’s Single” – I keep seeing this color and it looks soooo pretty
  • Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’R Face + Eye Bronzer & Highlighter Palette – it’s new so I can’t say much about what I’ve seen other than I think it would be a nice palette as we transition into summer as far as shade range.
  • Kosas Skin-Improving Foundation – Not only have I heard a lot of good things about it but Kosas is a clean brand and this foundation has SPF, Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide in it. Honestly, I was dead set on trying it until I tried the Makeup Forever HD foundation. Maybe now’s the time…
  • Shani Darden Retinol Reform – This a retinol that I’ve read is good for sensitive skin and the results I’ve seen from it are amazinggggg. I’m in need of some new skincare products so this will be a good addition. It is a little more expensive so if you’re not set on spending that much, they do have a smaller size.

Okay so that turned out longer than I expected…haha oops! But it’s a good start and if there are any other products that you’re wondering about, leave me a comment and I can let you know if I’ve tried them and if I haven’t, then maybe I will!

  1. Ohhh! I might try the makeup forever foundation. Do you love it more than Ilia? ❤️

    1. I do! I still really like the Ilia especially because its much lighter coverage so I still use it for no-makeup makeup days but the Makeup Forever has just been flawless for me.
